Boardwalk empire.
Season 5 begins in 1931, a full six years after the end of Season 4. In stark contrast with the Roaring '20s, the country is in the throes of the Great Depression, and with the end of Prohibition in sight, Nucky is looking to legitimize himself by forging alliances with liquor producers. This season also includes flashback scenes of Nucky, Eli, the Commodore, Gillian and others from 1884-1900 -- childhood experiences that would shape their relationships and their futures.

Boardwalk empire.
Atlantic City, February 1924: Picking up 8 months after the events of Season 3, Nucky Thompson is laying low at the end of the Boardwalk after barely surviving an overthrow by gangster Gyp Rosetti. But the calm will be short-lived, as Nucky faces new challenges, including a clash with a violent Harlem power broker, a battle with his brother Eli over Eli's college-age son, and the irresistible lure of lucrative- and perilous- opportunities in Florida.

Season three begins on New Year's Eve 1922-23. The roaring '20s are about to start; though the economy is booming, alcohol has become scarce, competition is fierce, and gangster violence is heating up.

Jersey boys
The story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons. "Jersey Boys" is a strange movie, and it's a Clint Eastwood enterprise, both reasons to see it."--New York Times. "For those that love the Four Seasons' music but haven't made it to the play, you can put your fear of missing out to rest. This is a much more affordable way to very nearly re-create the experience."--Washington Post. "Sure. We'll stay, just a little bit longer."--Associated Press.
